What the lit. agent wanted

The agent who contacted me wasn’t interested in anything that I’d published as an indie writer (The Eye of the Archer).   She wanted to see the first three chapters of a political thriller I have, but haven’t published yet.   So I had to change gears away from promoting Archer to putting together the submission of the first three chapters of Who Has The Power, a political thriller involving a U.S. Senate race, domestic terrorism, and a young staffer fresh out of law school.   Since I worked for the U.S. Congress for eleven years and have done Homeland Security work, I was able to draw on a lot of direct experience in writing Power.
